Evan and Sabrina’s first date was supposed to just be a morning hike, but they were having such a great time that it ended up lasting into dinner. And as they say… the rest is history!
A few months after their first date, Sabrina moved north to Davis for a veterinary radiology residency – so they decided to brave long-distance. But despite the far distance, they’ve always found ways to be near-hearted! Pre-covid, they flew often. Post-covid, they bond over long talks in the car over the 8 hour drive up and down the 5 freeway.
Their The Lodge at Torrey Pines wedding was the culmination of hours and hours of pouring into each other, and miles and miles of traveling the distance to spend time together.
And gosh… it was a beautiful, emotional moment for their families to see!
As photographers, we LIVE to capture the tender, intimate moments – and Evan and Sabrina’s wedding was perfectly intimate with just their closest family and friends.
Despite needing to change their initial big wedding plans, Evan and Sabrina had the most incredible team of vendors in their corner! They made sure their wedding celebration at The Lodge at Torrey Pines felt just as glorious and special as they envisioned.
Susanne Duffy of Crown Weddings & Events made sure each little detail was perfect – she takes care of her couples like they are family! Susanne brought together an A-List team of talent: fabulous florals by Jennifer Cole, perfect hair and makeup by Meagan Brown, and a whole slew of rental providers who made this dreamy tablescape come to life!
