We are so excited to share the sweet story behind Austin & Cierra’s intimate Tom Ham’s Lighthouse wedding— one that truly gives us ALL of the feels and features the sweetest intimate wedding that shows the beautiful connection that they not only share with one another, but their close-knit families, this is one story you won’t want to miss out on reading. Austin & Cierra first met when they were in high school; a time where life was more simple, little did they know that their first date to the movies would lead them to a partner that would support them throughout all of life’s challenges.
As they grew older, Austin & Cierra only grew closer; as they applied to colleges & began their biology & pre-med degrees together at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, their relationship only grew as they leaned on another for support throughout every step of the process. With classes together & late night night study sessions, Austin & Cierra became invaluable sources of support for one another as they traversed through the program. And by the last semester? Austin & Cierra knew that whatever life (or academia) threw at them, they had someone who could make them laugh and smile through it all, standing right by their side to support them.
So when Austin & Cierra decided to take that next step? It was the easiest question that they had faced together. Planning an intimate Tom Ham’s Lighthouse wedding where they would be surrounded by their family and friends who had seen them through every step of their journey, there was nothing but pure joy and butterflies as they made sure every detail was perfect. With the help of Cierra’s mother, the two planned every detail to create a day where their love would shine through.
To be honest? Our hearts melted the second we arrived at their beautiful & intimate Tom Ham’s Lighthouse wedding. With only their closest loved ones there, Cierra & Austin were able to take the time to share special moments throughout the day with almost every person. From Cierra’s sister serenading the couple to an unplanned grandfather-daughter dance that had us TOTALLY tearing up behind our viewfinders, the two of them were surrounded by so much love & support from those who mattered most to them.
From their first dance to formal portraits and family photos by the bay, their wedding was a reflection of their personalities, the love they share, and the beautiful network of support they had. We feel so incredibly honored to have been chosen to capture such a sweet & intimate Tom Ham’s Lighthouse wedding and made to feel like we were truly part of their family, even if it was just for a day.
