Two of our favorite things? Getting to see our couples and absolutely ADORABLE family portrait sessions– and this beautiful Omni La Costa Family Portrait session Family Portrait session meets both. Over a year after we last photographed their wedding and got to see them in person, Paul & Danielle reached out to us to see if we could capture family portraits with the newest addition to the Von Petrzelka family, their adorable nine month old, Landon. And when we saw that they reached out? We knew we would move heaven & earth to be there to capture such a beautiful moment in their lives.
Through phone calls & emails, we walked them through our different session options. Though we debated returning to Moonlight Beach, where we had photographed their heart-meltingly cute engagement session (and that is still one of their favorite spots), Paul & Danielle wanted somewhere where they would have more options for beautiful portraits. Hearing this, we knew that an Omni La Costa Family Portrait session would be perfect for them as it was a luxurious hotel nearby their house with beautiful gardens and vistas that would be tucked away from the winds you would encounter at the beach– and they agreed!
This Omni La Costa Family Portrait session was an absolute JOY! With beautiful golden light and the hotel property to explore, we were able to get plenty of photographs documenting the day as we caught up with Paul and Danielle, and armed with Landon’s favorite stuffed animals and puffs, there was hardly a moment he didn’t have the sweetest smile. We’re especially glad that they came armed with armed with his favorite stuffed animals as we were able to get the perfect photograph for the invitation to his first birthday, a Winnie the Pooh themed party.
To Paul & Danielle; Thank you thank you, thank you for letting us capture another part of your story. Getting to spend this time with you once again was such a treat– and as was getting to meet Landon, the newest member of your family (and the Clove & Kin family!) We hope we can be there for every step of your journey, cheering you on as you grow together as a family!
