This Los Angeles Live wedding started with love at first sight– and their story absolutely melts our heart. From the moment they had their first date on a rooftop bar in Washington, DC, Vika and Stephen knew that they had found something special; the kind of romance that leaves you feeling like your stomach is turned upside down and your fingers feel like you brushed against a live wire any time you accidentally touch hands while reaching for the bread.

As she sat at the bar, it seemed almost like the movies and television shows that her company worked on; time stopped and the most handsome man that she had ever seen came to sit next to her– and she knew that Stephen could be the guy that she would marry. From how she was always a little early to everything–including the date– to how he had clear goals and ideas for the future, it was a match from the moment that they sat down and ordered their first drinks.

This Los Angeles LIVE wedding was just like that moment that they first met; a rooftop view, Vika and Stephen taking the next step together into something that would irrevocably change their lives for the better. We absolutely adored Vika’s dress, purchased at LeeHwa Wedding and Korean Traditional Dress; with delicate beading and a light airy train, it flowed across the floor as they walked around the chuppah side by side during their progressive Jewish ceremony and entered into their marriage together, equal partners in every aspect.

Led by Stephen’s uncle, the ceremony was absolutely perfect– and sweet– in every aspect. As Stephen promised to cheer quietly whenever Vika falls asleep while they watch sports on the couch, it was evident to everyone in the room how much they loved and respected one another, taking into account the other before they did themselves. With family being such an integral part of our company culture here at Clove & Kin, we absolutely adored seeing the ways they brought family into the beginning of their married relationship, and how they tied their lives– and families– together.

Helen Cho did an absolutely incredible job weaving together the various traditions and creating small callbacks to their first date. Working to capture what Helen, Stephen, and Vika had planned together was truly a dream, with every small moment of the night having intention and meaning to the story that the incredible couple shared. From the vows to the balcony of the Los Angeles Live wedding venue matching the location where they had their first date– and where it was love at first sight, we couldn’t get enough of how they intricately tied together this wedding.

It was almost as if they could feel were the only two in the room, with how giddy and happy they were after the ceremony. And we weren’t the only ones who thought so, with their friends toasting to how “unexpectedly perfect” for one another they are and how in love the pair are over the gourmet dinner by Wolfgang Puck Catering. As the friends, family, and couple enjoyed the meal, they were beckoned onto the dance floor by Extreme DJ productions, with Stephen and Vika taking the lead.

And it was evident we ALL felt the love in the room when the pair swept across the dance floor to “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”– giggling and smiling at one another, Vika and Stephen only had eyes for one another at this Los Angeles LIVE wedding.

Stephen and Vika– with you two both in the entertainment industry, you’ll come across so many love stories that seem too good to be true; but we hope that you know that the two of you have created your own that rivals even the greatest romances splashed across the big screen. Being able to witness the love and respect that you have for one another reminds us why we do what we do, and why it’s less work for us and more of a gift.
