From Kevin’s homecoming from deployment to their beautiful engagement session, Nicola & Kevin’s love story continues with their gorgeous wedding in Washington, D.C. We’ve been so excited for the next chapter of their journey together and we’re so honored that we could be there to capture it. The towering monuments, the military legacy, and their amazing friends and family from all over the world made the big day even bigger!
Nicola is always laughing and smiling, and she cares deeply and genuinely for everyone around her, from her adorable junior bridesmaid to Kevin’s 96-year-old grandmother. Her family is so welcoming and generous, and her parents are incredibly proud of their incredible daughter. Kevin is hilarious and well-spoken — as well as a strong, helicopter-flying marine. Nicola makes his heart soar even when his feet are planted on the ground, and he treasures the tight relationships between him and his family, his guys, and his gal.
After the beautiful ceremony at Ft. Myer Memorial Chapel, we went off to the National Mall for a walk by some of the country’s awe-inspiring memorials to our past presidents and brave heroes. Everywhere we went, Nicola & Kevin were met with applause and shouts of congrats like celebrities. It’s easy to see why! With their party of beautiful bridesmaids and awesome groomsmen, Nicola & Kevin were even more epic than normal. Their reception was fantastic, full of lovely details, and of course the party really started when the dance floor opened up! I love seeing Kevin’s guys let loose, and one of our favorite pictures from the day is Kevin dancing with his amazing grandma!
