Melissa and Larry met online, but it was their shared faith that truly drew them together. While Larry is more relaxed and Melissa is more detailed, they make for a perfect match! On a trip to Taipei to visit his family, Larry took Melissa on a beautiful walk right along the lake, and got down on one knee underneath a picturesque gazebo. Since they had just barely arrived in the country, Melissa was SO surprised, but thrilled to spend the rest of the trip as fiancés!
After their sweet autumn-inspired Torrey Pines engagement session, we knew Melissa and Larry’s wedding was going to be something incredibly special. Melissa and Larry’s friends gathered from California, Canada, Taiwan, Los Angeles and San Diego to attend their beautiful celebration of faith, community, and deep, deep love for each other.
Their gorgeous Tom Ham’s Lighthouse wedding was an elegant black-tie affair, with beautiful black, white, and gold details. Melissa and Larry’s classic, sophisticated style showed in every detail, and their love of architecture made Balboa Park the perfect backdrop for couple portraits.
And the best part? After several years of dating long-distance, Melissa and Larry can finally start their new life together in the same city! We’re so excited for you two — thank you for inviting us to be part of your amazing day!
