Most kids are a little picky when it comes to their food, leaving parents to find all sorts of ways to sneak vegetables into a simple plate of spaghetti with red sauce. But George and Tanya are raising three adventurous, curious, and playful children who love-love-love sushi! At first we really didn’t believe them. How could a three-year-old crave fish and veggies wrapped in seaweed? No way!
But it’s all true! The Williamson Family loves enjoying a picnic of sushi by the sea together, and Julie captured them every step of the way. After gobbling up every last bite, the kids went for a race on the sand with their mom and dad, and explored the tide pools. And it wouldn’t be the Williamson’s without at least one picture of them doing the Hawaiian “hang loose” sign together!
It was so cute to see the kids’ personalities shine! Naomi is five years old, so curious and gentle with her brothers. George is three, with the most adorably mischievous laugh and and a sharing heart. (Fun fact: “Wee George” is the seventh George Williamson – his dad was born and raised in Scotland, and the name goes back generations from father to firstborn son! Wee George also loves his fireman hat.) And then there’s baby Thomas, who loves cuddling with his big sister and and big brother.
The Williamson Family are savoring this season in their lives, a time when their kids think their mom and dad are totally the coolest people to be with! You can see it in their eyes; they love, trust, and look up to them so much. It is such a privilege and big responsibility, and was so wonderful to capture!
