The very first time that Nick met Lindsey’s family, it was at a family wedding. So, it could have gone one of two ways: he’s forever “that random guy” in all the photos… or he sticks and it all works out.
Spoiler alert: He stuck!
Lindsey’s twin brother officiated Nick and Lindsey’s ceremony, and told this story – noting how brave it was to meet the whole family at once (much less, at a wedding!) – and that the story turned out the best way possible!
Nick and Lindsey complement each other perfectly: she’s opinionated, confidant, and loyal, and he’s open, honest, and so much FUN. They’re both ambitious individuals with big dreams, but they bring out a lightheartedness in each other (which totally showed on their wedding day!).
They said “I do” at Rancho Valencia, and their wedding day was everything elegant, romantic, and so-very-classic! It looked straight out of a magazine!
We adore their planner, Sarah of Aster & Park, who executed everything to perfection! Parker & Posies designed the lovely blooms, VG Donut & Bakery created their uhh-MAZING cake, and their band, Republic of Music, kept the party groovin’ all night! And there was one little (but VERY important) guy that was a crucial part of their wedding day: their dog Winston! Oh MY goodness, he was such a sweetheart! Winston plopped himself down on Lindsey’s train after she put on her gorgeous gown, and he was responsible for getting the rings down the aisle (they were attached to his collar!). SO CUTE!
