Private Estate Senior Portraits | Aubree

One of our favorite things? Getting to capture the meaningful, large moments in our clients’ life– and these Private Estate senior portraits was perfectly that.  Meant to decorate her senior page, something that Aubree and her family could look back upon for years to come, we were excited- and honored- to be the ones that she chose to document this time of her life!

When Rene reached out to us on the recommendation of her friend– and regular Bauman Photographers client– Jessica Pride of the Pride Law Firm about capturing her daughter’s senior portraits, it gave us allll of the warm and fuzzy feelings that come along with being recommended.  It’s an honor when one of the members of our “studio family” members recommends us, especially one who we’ve gotten to know as well as Jessica– and we couldn’t be more happy that she did as our time photographing Aubree’s Private Estate senior portraits was one that warmed our hearts.

Before the day came, we got to know exactly what Aubree and Rene envisioned for the session; a beautiful, golden hour session where Aubree would be able to incorporate her love of color and natural beauty in a place where she felt comfortable.  And what better place to do so than her own backyard?

A gorgeous day, our photographer, Aubree, and Rene walked throughout their spacious backyard during this Private Estate senior portrait session, getting to know one another and what Aubree hoped would be next for her after her graduation.  Discussing her upcoming application to UC Santa Cruz, among other colleges, her love of art, and more, we got to know Aubree for the thoughtful and kind person that she was; something that we think came through especially in her portraits as her personality shone through her kind smile. Throughout the session, we worked to take photos that we knew Aubree would love, recommending poses, locations, and more to give her a variety of photos to choose from to decorate her senior page in her class yearbook.  With outfit changes and different locations throughout their beautiful backyard, Aubree was able to walk away with plenty of portraits that showed different looks (and that showed off her different favorite shoes) for her page in her yearbook.

To Aubree & the Potter family; thank you so much for letting us visit your home, and for letting us capture such a huge moment for you; we cannot say enough how lucky we are to have been able to do so for you.  We’re so happy that you walked away from your Private Estate senior portrait session with images that you adored, and that we got a chance to know you!  There isn’t a doubt in our minds that your future is bright, no matter which college you end up attending– and that you’ll have many, many more memorable moments to document and photograph along the way.
