When Alex and Nairi went on their very first date, it was *not* a love match.
They’ll joke forever about how he made a very cringe-worthy Spiderman joke that locked them in the friend-zone… but even so, they chose to keep in touch.
Their vibes intensified when Nairi had started training for her first triathlon – it was something Alex was very into, and he’d inspired her to give it a try. Turns out, she LOVED. IT.
And it turns out… they made pretty amazing training partners. 🙂
She competed in triathlons and then marathons, and eventually Nairi realized she wasn’t just floating because of a runner’s high.
Nairi was floating because Alex had turned from a funny first-date story… to best friend… to someone she couldn’t stop thinking about.
As we photographed these adorable triathlon-buddies-slash-lovebirds, we saw just how perfect they are together. Alex and Nairi have silly personalities and make each other laugh constantly, and gosh… have you SEEN the way they look at each other??
Their Mission Trails engagement session captured them in their element: hand-in-hand, surrounded by nature, basking in the glow of golden light and mountain air and romantic feels!
We adore these two sweet souls, and we CANNOT wait for their amazing wedding next year!
