It’s written all over Tom and Lisa’s glowing, giddy faces: they are madly, deeply, joyfully in love.
From the very beginning of their love story, Tom and Lisa decided to jump in with completely open hearts. And they would both say that they knew within thirty minutes of meeting – this was it.
They chose to let down walls and invite the other into their full, real lives. Teenagers and work events, yoga classes and rock climbing – they dove in and beautifully blended their separate lives and families into one.
For Tom and Lisa’s La Jolla engagement session, we met them at sunrise at Scripps Pier. An early, overcast day meant we had the beach all to ourselves!
These two were so fun to photograph – their way together is tender, natural, and affectionate. They’ve walked this shoreline countless times together – it was a place of solace during a pandemic that brought on so much uncertainty and stress.
It was such a joy to photograph the way these two cherish each other, and it shows in the images! Just look at the way they smile around each other! Dreaaaamy!
