Jake and Sarah are best friends who fell in love through a mutual love of music, adventure, and a lighthearted approach to life.
These east-coast transplants met in San Diego about five years ago through a mutual friend, and the more time they spent together (and the more playlists they geeked out over together), the more they realized they were utterly MADE FOR EACH OTHER.
It was one fateful bowl of chili that won over Jake’s heart (and stomach!). Sarah created a yummy recipe (let’s not be shy here, it was bomb-dot-com) for a friendly chili cook-off, and it totally clinched it for Jake! Ever since, they’ve been together attending alllll the concerts, checking incredible adventures off the list, and soaking in as much ocean breeze as humanly possible.
Come autumn, we’ll be celebrating Jake and Sarah’s wedding at The Inn at Sunset Cliffs, so it just felt right to hang out by the cliffs and enjoy the lovely views for their engagement session.
These two made everything so easy – they don’t take themselves too seriously, but they’re oh-so-seriously in love! We can’t wait to see Jake and Sarah get married!
