A native San Diegan, Lauren travels the world with her camera and is a self-described sucker for exploring new places – particularly when adventures may be involved. It’s not uncommon to find her at the top of a mountain she just climbed or taking in the view at the edge of a cliff. When she’s not seeking out panoramic views, she’s pursuing her humanitarian work around the world or photographing weddings here at home. Upbeat and outgoing, she makes friends with those around her instantly, and she quickly earns the trust of her couples, making her photographic work particularly candid and authentic.

C&K: If you were a dessert, what would you be?

L: This is the most difficult question because dessert is my favorite meal… I pick option D – All of the above. I would be a chocolate lava cake just out of the oven. Or stracciatella gelato at the little place in Cinque Terre. Or key lime pie in Key West (or CPK .. they have the best key lime pie I’ve tasted outside of Key West). Or Greek yogurt with Greek honey like the one I had after dining outside in a Greek vineyard overlooking some Greek city, or Oeufs a la Neige at Mille Fleur in Rancho Santa Fe that is available by request (but you have to give them a couple days). Maybe an authentic mochi from my secret store in Torrance, or anything lemon, or the rhubarb pie I just had at the Hotel del Coronado… see what you’ve started…
