I believe in savoring moments - in creating the kinds of images that in 30 years will still remind you of the joy you felt in the moment that photo was taken. Images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful albums and hung on walls for years to come.
I began capturing weddings in 2006 and have shared in countless heartfelt wedding journeys across the US since. Based in San Diego, I specialize in capturing full wedding weekends, including welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, and post-wedding brunches. Why? Because my couples are really good at spoiling their guests. When you get married in a breathtaking place like this, it only makes sense to make it a full destination weekend for your people, too.
Through it all - the celebrating, toasting, laughing, and dancing - I am here to help you slow down. Because the more you slow down, the more you remember. The more you remember, the more magical your images will be.

1. Expert Guidance | I've photographed more than 200 luxury weddings over the past
twenty years. I know how to work with your planner to craft a photography timeline that will not only make sure all of your most cherished photos are taken and the decor is captured perfectly but will make sure you also enjoy a cocktail (or two!) with your guests.

Even if you're working with a wedding planner or you're planning a simple wedding, there are likely still a lot of moving pieces left leading up to your big day. We've photographed more than 200 weddings and we're happy to share everything we've learned along the way!
Wedding CONSULTANTS
We’re big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera and spend one on one time with your photographer, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you.
If you include an engagement session in your collection with us, the ideal time to photograph an engagement sessions is 6-9 months before your wedding date, but we will always work around your unique wedding schedule.
Engagement Session
One of our mottos at Clove & Kin is "Spontaneity is the reward of preparation." We check-in about 4 months before the wedding to start chatting about timeline specifics, special details, family formal shot lists, special traditions and anything else we should know about your big day.
Based on the details you give us, we'll put together the perfect schedule of photography and list of family portraits for your day, and we'll work closely with your wedding planning team to make it perfect. Your only job on the wedding day will be to celebrate!
Wedding Day PLANNING
It's finally here! The day the two of you say "I Do" and dance the night away surrounded by your family and friends.
Just know we're excited to celebrate and capture your wedding day. It's going to be awesome.
The Big Day
Your gorgeous images will be brought back to our studio where they'll be lovingly curated and edited.
You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery a month after your wedding. If you included an album in your collection with us, we'll begin creating your initial album designs and begin prepping for your Design Session.
Photo Delivery
If you purchase an album, we'll sit down with you 4-6 weeks after the wedding to view your album designs, curate them to perfection, and select your final album options. This is when we get to craft your first family heirloom - an album that will be passed down for generations to come.
At this time, we'll also be selecting any wall art you'd like to place around your home. These are the moments we'll preserve for years to come, and that you'll get to experience on a daily basis - from the moment you wake until you lay down to rest, so be thinking about where you'd like to see your beautiful memories displayed.

You'll have direct access to my 20 years of experience photographing luxury weddings in San Diego. Need advice on how to best angle your ceremony at your luxury venue in late October for the best photos & design? I'll be able to tell you.
Engagement session planning
I will work with your planner to create a simple and stress-free schedule of photography. From putting on your dress to the late night dance party, I know how much time will be needed to complete your photos on your specific day while also building in lots of time to celebrate with your guests!
I will create a personalized list of the family portrait setups that couples and families want most with your particular family dynamics in mind so you don't have to come up with it on your own. From there, we will adjust the setups to fit perfectly for your day, and it will be approved by our final planning call. On the wedding day, I will take care of the list while you toast and enjoy!
Full location scouting + planning
If an engagement session is included in your collection with me, I will help select a location that is perfect for your vision as well as assist with outfit styling for the perfect look. Have a Pinterest board? Yes please! Want to shoot on a helipad? Let's make it happen!
I will fully scout your wedding venue prior to the wedding day to select the best locations for all of your wedding photos based on backgrounds, lighting, and your vision for the day.
One month prior to the wedding, we will hold a final photography planning meeting to finalize the wedding day timeline plus your list of family portraits. Once we hold this meeting, you can check photography off of your wedding-brain-checklist, knowing it will all be fully taken care of by myself and my team.

Hand-Crafted, elevated Edits
None of my couples are professional models, so I will absolutely guide and direct you as much as needed to help you look amazing and feel natural. My relaxed nature usually draws out your real selves very quickly! On the wedding day, I will know when to step in to help you and loved ones look your absolute best (I will step in to fix stray hairs... alwasy!) while also seeing when to stand back and let moments unfold naturally.
I will personally edit all of your images in my studio with an eye for timeless, true, editorial color and natural moments. My goal is for your day to feel elevated and refined with true to life colors, so your skin, dress, florals and decor feel so rich and elegant, you could reach in and touch them.
Your final, hand-edited full-resolution digital images will be delivered in an easy to use online gallery for viewing, sharing, downloading, and printing one month after the wedding day. You can share the gallery with anyone you'd like and download the images for personal printing as well as long term safekeeping.

Ten Hours wedding day coverage with Erin
Perfect for weddings at multiple locations or longer receptions, this is full day wedding coverage with me as your primary photographer capturing all of the big and little moments throughout the day. I will begin my coverage before hair and makeup is complete and end towards the end of your reception.
Rehearsal Dinner or Welcome Party Coverage
Up to two hours of coverage for a pre-wedding rehearsal dinner or Welcome Party to capture the full weekend of events.
Engagement Session
A pre-wedding engagement session at a location in Southern California. Sessions typically last between 1-2 hours of time and all images will be delivered in an online gallery two weeks after the session for viewing, sharing, and downloading.
10x10 Heirloom Album
A 10x10 lay flat, custom designed Heirloom Wedding Album with 20 spreads. We will custom design the album for you with your favorite images from the day during a Design Consultation session after the wedding.

Full day coverage for weddings at one location that may have a longer ceremony or cocktail hour, or if you'd like more coverage of the epic dance party or last dance. I will begin my coverage just as hair and makeup is getting completed and end about halfway through your reception. For weddings with multiple locations, I will recommend adding 1-2 hours of coverage during our initial consultation.

I will be your primary photographer capturing all of the major events and in-between moments throughout the day. Coverage will begin just as hair and makeup is completed and end about halfway through your reception. For weddings with multiple locations or longer receptions, I will recommend adding 1-2 hours of coverage during our initial consultation.

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, we’ll need a completed contract and a $1500 non-refundable retainer. All of our bookings happening electronically, so contact us via our inquiry form here or email us at studio@cloveandkin.com and we'll set up a consultation to gather details of the wedding, create a proposal and book your date.
We love your work and we’re ready to book! What’s the next step?
We deliver roughly 100 final images for every hour of coverage. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding, depending on the number of guests and the events that take place. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited images that you can download and share anywhere you'd like.
How many photos will we receive and will we be able to download them?
Your final gallery of images will be delivered a month after the wedding day and your videos will be delivered after 8-10 weeks. Also, stay tuned during the immediate days after - good things usually come your way! All videos will be delivered 4-6 months after the wedding.
When will we receive our final images & videos?
We work with a lot of couples that don't live locally, so we can schedule your engagement session to happen during any of your trips you might be taking to come plan your wedding. We can also photograph your rehearsal dinner or Welcome Party to get some great portraits of you prior to the big day.
I don't live in San Diego but I would like to do an engagement session. How will that work?
Absolutely! While the wedding day is the main event, capturing the full weekend of events completes the full story of your celebration. We will also photograph bridal showers, dress fittings, and any other meaningful events that take place. Just ask and we'll include them in your proposal.
Can you photograph my Welcome Party or Rehearsal Dinner?
